Since its establishment in 1952, the company has insisted on manufacturing their own products.
SK-Kawanishi then becomes specialized in joints production and has established their own original brand.
In order to ensure the properly delivery of water, appropriateness of the pipelines and user-friendliness for workers are our prime considerations.

1952年 有限会社川西水道機器工業所として発足。ＳＫジョイント発売開始。
1959年 有限会社川西水道機器製作所に社名変更。
1960年 鋳造部門移転し、郷東工場（高松市）操業開始。
1971年 有限会社を株式会社に組織変更。資本金を1,000万円とする。
1972年 日本水道協会(JWWA)検査工場となる。
1976年 郷東工場に低周波誘導炉･高速高圧自動造型機を導入。
1979年 香西工場にエポキシ粉体塗装ライン設置。
1980年 本社を高松市扇町から高松市香西本町へ移転。SK-Mジョイント発売開始。
1981年 ネオSKジョイント発売開始。
1982年 SK-Mジョイントにストップリング装着品発売開始。
1986年 SK-ビニストッパー発売開始。
1989年 九州営業所開設（福岡市博多区）
1990年 SK-Mジョイントストップリング付、SK-ビニストッパー（口径：200～300）ラインナップ追加。
1993年 本社工場用地取得（52,250.1㎡・香川県綾南町）
株式会社川西水道機器に社名変更。
1994年 ネオＳＫジョイントストップリング付（口径30～50）発売開始。
1995年 『綾南工場』1期工事竣工新設鋳造工場操業開始。
資本金を9,800万円とする。
1999年 スッポンMジョイント発売開始。
2000年 本社・綾南工場完成。本社及び香西工場を綾歌郡綾南町へ移転。
『綾南工場』2期工事竣工新設塗装ライン、組立・出荷ライン操業開始。
四国営業所開設。
2001年 ISO 9001 認証取得（英国LRQA社）。
2002年 ISO 9001 2000年版認証取得。
2003年 関東営業所・物流センター開設（埼玉県行田市）
スッポンＭソフト発売開始。スッポンＭＤジョイント発売開始。
2004年 ISO 9001 2000年版更新。
ビニストショートⅡ発売開始。
2005年 大口径ＭＶＦ・ビニストッパー（口径350～500）発売開始。
2006年 日本水道協会指定検査工場となる。
2007年 スッポンＭＰジョイント発売開始。
2008年 スッポンＭＰソフト発売開始。
ＳＫＸ発売開始。
2009年 スッポンMPジョイント(JW-P用)(200)発売開始。
2010年 日本水道協会第1種検査工場変更。
スッポンMGジョイント発売開始。
2011年 四国営業所本社統合。
2012年 中部営業所開設。
2013年 東北出張所開設。
2014年 北海道出張所開設。
九州営業所移転・九州物流センター開設。
